It's historically been difficult for patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) to access doctors with the DEA registration required to prescribe buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone), one of 3 FDA-approved medications to treat OUD. We intended to connect patients with licensed healthcare providers to provide this gold-standard and life-saving treatment.
Fortunately, restrictions to prescribing this medication have since been eliminated, increasing access to care, a much needed change in the battle to address the opioid crisis.
